About this original series
I interview directors and filmmakers about working in the film industry, their careers, and ask about their opinions on modern cinema and a variety of issues. I tend to stick to independent films instead of mainstream hollywood stuff, because independent films and documentaries desperately need a voice in this overly commercialized industry.In every interview I conduct I'm trying to pick the filmmaker's brains to become a better filmmaker myself, and hopefully inspire others as well. I'm not really a Vlogger (honestly, most Vlogs on YouTube bore the living crap out of me with their self-absorbed creators), this is more of a sketchbook of my work as a producer, director, interviewer and an editor.I also edit and produce videos about motorcyling, comedy and political issues when something gets me interested.I worked for Major League Baseball for about 4 years as a cameraman and an editor and left there about 2 years ago to pursue more interesting topics.I've recently done freelance work for CNN, Discovery Channel, Current TV and online video interviews for a few best selling authors.

The Woodpecker Song
This was completely done spur of the moment today when I saw this little woodpecker nesting in the tree outside my window. A red bellied woodpecker doing his thing in Watchung, NJ 3/8/08 2:00pm. He falls asleep at the end. This video is oozing sugary sweet cuteness, I feel a cavity coming on.
