Ylotana A Multimedia Voice With two studios in Moscow and London, Ylotana is a project that seriously seeks to create music that touches the masses in a different way. What makes this endeavor ambitious is the fact that it does this by not only incorporating a multimedia voice but a multicultural one. Ylotana, created by entrepreneur turned musician Anatoly Podkopov, utilizes different styles and genres of art, from illustration, to literature as well as instrumentals that are primarily based on ethnic musical interpretations. With such a project, this multicultural mixture could nearly ensure a worldwide reach, introducing itself to all cultures in a way that is both entertaining and informative. Ylotana Literature Ylotana sports five separate projects which are in and of themselves, separate entities. These stories, entitled I AM YOU, Micro MIR, DANCE FOR THE SNOW QUEEN, MY LITTLE GOD and PANIC IN PARADISE are separate morality tales that set the pace for the artwork and music, inspiring their individual creation. These stories also reflect timeless adages that make the reader think. While remaining contemplative, the reader is also enveloped by music that is specifically designed to coincide with the multidimensional aspect of the project. Interestingly enough, the stories stand alone but also seem to complete the circular patterns that make up the Ylotana experience itself. Ylotana Art Several artists, namely Liza Shutova, Denis Grechko, Vladimir Waldez Snegotskiy and Polina Shutova lend their artistic interpretations to the process, creating a visionary world that matches the timing and tempo of Ylotanas grooves. This art is a mirror to the stories that head each of the five projects and sets out to underline the entire Ylotana experience. Ylotana Music Composers come from all over the globe and span all walks of life. Creator Anatoly Podkopov contributes his expertise to the arrangements but also allows fellow instrumentalists, like Oleg Burobin and DJ Grigoriy to add their own flavor to the musical mix. This grouping of individual styles is what makes the Ylotana project incredibly unique. The cornerstone of the project, is its electro-funk-dance mixture which combines live and digital music mediums for a fresh new sound. Artist backgrounds Every Ylotana contributor comes from a variety of backgrounds and ideologies—but this multicultural group shares the same goal to bring multimedia presentations to the fore.
