Getting stuck for cancer research

Students at McClure Elementary School helped raise money for a rare form of cancer by taping school counselor John Kaluzny to the school wall in Yakima, Wash., on April 27, 2012. Called “Stuck for a Buck,” the event pits the 600-plus pupils against adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC). For every dollar they donate, they get a foot of duct tape, which they used to attach Kaluzny to the school wall.
