The Christian Peace Witness for Iraq, Washington, DC -- Friday 16 March 2007. More "street videography." If you weren't there, here's the basic narrative flow -- opening worship and speakers at the New York Ave. Presbyterian Church, the overflow site because the National Cathedral was full -- candlelight processional down NY Ave. to Lafayette Park (opposite the White House) where we met up with the processional from the main worship service (this is where they guy says "Oh woo" in the background) -- a speaker or two -- watching as the people doing civil disobedience cross the police lines to stand in front of the White House -- a couple of shots of people praying, and the media running around ina feeding frenzy -- the police pull up the first bus, and start arresting people.
