Voices from the opposition Haifa Zangana is an author and activist. Her recent books are Dreaming of Baghdad, and City of Widows: An Iraqi woman's account of war and resistance. She is also co-author of Torturer in the Mirror. Haifa lectures on Iraqi culture, literature and women's issues.
