AFTER EASTER (2) John 20:19-31; Acts 4:32-35 Betty Berghaus The staff received a gift this Easter that we have not had before. Because of the electrical work needed on the Mission Center, we had to be out of the building for the three days after Easter. Some of us may have worked a bit during that time, as we still needed to see folks in the hospital, and to prepare for lessons to be taught or sermons to be preached. But we had three days off from the office. And when we came back on Thursday, we decided that three days off might be a very appropriate way to recuperate from all the exhausting work leading up to Easter. But a church member in the Mission Center heard us talking and asked why we were so tired. Someone answered, jokingly of course, that it was hard work raising Jesus every year!
