Students performed in front of the entire school during the final assembly of the summer term 2011. At the end of this assembly the school said goodbye to Mr Tony Garwood who had been head of senior school for 6 years.
Students participated in the annual balloon race organised by the Science department at Wingate School. There were awards and prizes for winners in various categories and the whole event was finished off with the traditional "burning of the losers!" ceremony!
A music video developed by year 9 students during the summer term 2011. Students chose the music and the scenes they wanted to be included. The finished video was shown to the school during the end of term assembly.

As part of a CX day, year 13 students designed and created a short film to show potential sixth form students what a day at Wingate Sixth is like. Students comment on their chosen career paths and the various subjects that they are studying at Wingate.
Wingate sixth form students studying A level ICT created a series of tests to establish how durable and reliable data stored on a pendrive is. The tests increased in severity each time, this is a record of the testing and a summary of the outcomes.
Staff perform "Jingle Bell Rock" during the end of the year Christmas assembly 2010. After three years of practice the dance moves are starting to come together quite well!
