Sonido Criminal's "Crime Payz" being produced as short film for salsamagazine.com's Salsa Music Awards 2012 http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150884867710551 WEPAwebTV in association with Branekandi productions has begun work on a short 15 minute film dramatizing the story line in Sonido Criminal's song "Crime Payz". The script is being co-written by Carlos Mojica (El Criminal) and El Extreme with invited technical advice by acclaimed Director Abel Ferrara (King Of New York/The Bad Lieutenant). Salsera Choco Orta is already aboard as the New York mob Godmother with New Edge Theater's Maria Hernandez as her lieutenant. Mr. Salsa Izzy Sanabria will be playing the Florida Don El Criminal first goes to ask permission to spread his operations while Sonero Tony Vega has agreed to be the minister who helps bring Redemption to the lead character by showing him the error of his ways. Among other confirmed cameos are by Frankie Morales and Earnie Acevedo (Conjunto Imagen). Principle shooting begins in March 2012.
