The Wellesley Institute is a Toronto-based non-profit and non-partisan research and policy institute. Our focus is on developing research and community-based policy solutions to the problems of urban health and health disparities.
Miloon Kothari, the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Adequate Housing, was a featured speaker at the provincial housing leaders' forum of the Housing Network of Ontario on November 30, 2009. He spoke about the importance of a rights-based approach to housing, and also talked about the right to the city.
