Pushing the envelope of so-called moral acceptability Weird TV was banned in Philadelphia and Wisconsin for broadcasting a stop-motion animated squirrel taking a dump. Many people see Weird TV as an influential predecessor to the video revolution presently occuring on the Web. Here on Blip.tv we'll be offering the entire episodes broken down in to six parts each.

Weird TV came before email was popular so we interacted with our audience by using a 800 telephone number. Viewers were able to call our phone number and leave a message on tape. Then we would edit those messages into entertaining little segments for the show.
In 1994 Weird TV blasted into 45% of all American homes. No one had ever seen anything like it. There were 12 one hour episodes made in all and this one featured some of the first Burning Man video ever to emerge from the acclaimed desert event.
