WATEN is an EU Project under the Tempus program. It is mainly concerned with introducing a new program in water resources management and environmental Engineering to the post-graduate level at the civil Engineering department of the faculty of Engineering, Helwan and Ain Shams Universities. The new postgraduate program will offer the students two chances; a) either to have a two-year diploma, or b) to write a thesis work after completing two- semesters and then get a M.Sc. in water management and environmental studies. In addition to the postgraduate program, the project will also contribute to update some courses in the post-graduate level and introduce new courses. The updates will also include developing electronic form of the materials for the courses.
