Wageningen UR Centre for Development Innovation organised an innovation dialogue on navigating complexity fom 31 November - 1 December 2009. Heather Baser (formerly with ECDPM) facilitated a round table on capacity development from the perspective of complex adaptive systems. 'Complexity is understadning the context in which you work, having a broad vision but not necessarily have a detailed plan, trying to deal with the unpredictable.' The participants in the round table recommend to build/support a community of practice helping people in how to use complexity theory in capacity development.
