W. Deen Mohammed High School is an Islamic-based academic institution which began in 1980 under the auspices of the Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, one of the largest Islamic comunities in America The school offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that is established on the standards of high achievement and enhanced by extensive Islamic instruction.Students enter Mohammed School from diverse social and economic backgrounds. W Deen Mohammed High School is accredited "With Quality" by the Georgia Accrediting Commision. Also accredited by CITA (Commision on Intertransregional Accreditation), and SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools).
