The Dingle Adventure Race, held in Co Kerry, Ireland on the 12th June was blessed with lovely weather and the 260+ entrants enjoyed a challenging four stages of bike, hike, run and kayak. ;We met some of them at the start, preparing themselves physically and mentally for the demands ahead, and reflecting on the day at the end of race.Find out more at www.dingleadventurerace.com

For visitors to Dingle, one highlight is a dolphin boat trip. This spirited visitor came to Dingle harbour over 25 years ago decided to stay. No one really knows why he stays, but he even has other dolphins come and join him for holiday weekends.
There are many lovely long sandy beaches West of Dingle, whenever they can visitors will get to the beach for so many reasons. The long sweep of the Blue Flag winning beach at Ventry is particularly popular.Here we join visitors and locals alike joining in the fun of sand sculpturing and sand castle building.
