After walking on wooden floor wearing rubber soled shoes, the body records a high level of static charges. In this case up to -21 Kv(1 Kv=1000v). One can notice as the person getting close to instrument the recorder is showing an increase reading in the level of static charges .Therefore, even standing next to an instrument will influence the recording of static charges.
