My film titled Dearly Departed: Modern American Cinema is an exploration of the 2006 Martin Scorsese film The Departed. My film seeks to understand this phenomenon through voice-over, interviews, and recreations. Through making the film, I learned that people enjoy movies that they know to be of low cinematic quality.
