GALAXIAN Review for the Atari 2600

"We are the Galaxians. Our Mission: Destroy Aliens!" Galaxians is a space shooter that was made to compete with Space Invaders. Galaxians at the time was a step up in graphics including multicolored sprites, animation and evil aliens. You take control of a Galaxian ship to fight off the oncoming enemies. You can only move left or right, and fire a single shot at a time. The enemies move constantly and kamikaze fly at you and shoot at you all at the same time. It's a challenge, but pretty damn fun.
