      James Alliston brought home two victories at the conclusion of the Galway Downs International Horse Trials, one of which was the CCI3* aboard Jumbo's Jake, the other was the CCI1* aboard Mystic Mojo. Amber Levine won the CCI2* with Oz Poof of Purchase, while Barbara Crabo took top honors in the CCI1* long-format with Over Easy. Kathy Cain and Sidecar won section A of the Training Three Day, while Julie Flettner and Ping Pong won section B.

      At the conclusion of cross-country day, standings in the CCI3* at the Galway Downs International Three Day shifted dramatically. James Alliston and Jumbo's Jake ran double-clear over Ian Stark's course to move into the lead, while Nate Chambers and Rollingstone II moved into second, and Jolie Wentworth and Good Knight round out the top three.
