Ryan's Hope - August 16, 2012

It has taken us a while to fine-tune... but as our viewership numbers look to break the six-figure mark for households watching.... we here at www.UnLearn.TV have finally gotten our Tuesday nights right about where we want them. A mixture of TV show, and Party... with all the culinary and alcoholic accompaniments to aid in our pre, and post show mirth. Damn... this is a lot of fun. Among the Items we'll be discussing this week are: Obviously our top story will involve Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's choice of Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his Vice Presidential running mate. Cigars & Scotch and I will discuss the merits, as well as the liabilities of that choice, as well as debating on whether Benn Affleck, Alec Baldwin, or Harrison Ford did the best job of portraying him in the movies. Also! ... We will do an expose' on the current state of the TEA party, and their impact on the direction of the GOP. Have they maintained their libertarian roots, or have they been compromised by the evangelical lobby? ... and most importantly, do any of them prefer coffee? ... And! ... There has been a shift in Poll Numbers recently suggesting that President Obama has a significant lead over his would-be successor, Governor Romney. However, when one considers that we are still months away from election day, and that there are many more media cycles to influence the undecided... we here at UnLearn have done our own unbiased research poll, and have found that both candidates are less preferable to the American public than a can of tuna fish.
