While the Internet continues to draw people away from traditional entertainment mediums, the reality is that the cyber marketplace is presently saturated with the same problematically vapid, unimaginative, unoriginal diversionary clutter that plagues radio and television. Tonight we discuss: A media firestorm has erupted around the allegations made this past week by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid asserting that GOP candidate, and zillionaire Mitt Romney is reluctant to release his tax returns for his years at Bain Capital because he literally paid *no* taxes during that time. In response, Mitt Romney has assured us that he did in fact, pay *a lot* of taxes, and that we should just trust him on this. We here at UnLearn TV also have an unconfirmed, anonymous source who has in fact given us information that both of these men are complete, and utter morons. Lost in the ever-changing, multi-media, cerebral saturation of the 24/7 news-ertainment cycle... The United States accomplished something this week that should summon a sense of overwhelming national pride, but didn't. NASA sent our most advanced space faring probe to Mars. In other news, Snookie has registered at Target for her baby shower. In the first Presidential election since the invocation of the Citizens United ruling ... There has been much ballyhoo on cable news as to which party is benefitting most from this piece of legislation, and is circumventing our democratic republic by allowing the uber-wealthy an undue amount of influence. Having no political affiliation --and moreover, financial obligation-- of our own, we will do what none of our ignominious piers are willing... we'll follow the damn money trail(s).
