10 December 2007 - The Inauguration of the Symbols

The inauguration of the Symbols of unity on top of the 'Sach Khand Bhawan'on 10 December was the very highlight of the World Conference. This date had been chosen as it was the 75th Birthday of Dr. Harbhajan Singh, who had built up the project Kirpal Sagar on behalf of Sant Kirpal Singh. At first the famous song group Banwari Lal, Amritsar contributed to the programme, singing Bhajan - hymns according to the Hindu tradition. At 10:00 a.m. the interschool Shabad competition started. Groups from 17 different schools of the surrounding participated. The songs contained verses taken from the Holy scriptures expressing love and devotion to God. The contest was won by a girl group of Ludhiana. The chief guest Hon.
