The objective of the Reynolds Historical Lecture Series is to review, assess, and discuss various historical aspects of the health care sciences. This lecture, titled "'In Such Cases There Was a Predisposition to Kill the Child': Mothers, Homicide and Insanity in Victorian Britain," by Carolyn Conley, PhD, Professor and Chair, Department of History and Anthropology, University of Alabama at Birmingham, was held on March 8, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
