November 2, 2011. The Armbruster Nature Preserve is a memorial to James Armbruster, city councilman, florist and community volunteer, who loved nature and all things connected with it. The preserve features a nature playscape (with all kinds of natural things for kids and adults to crawl through and under, sit upon, and enjoy the outdoors), a shelter, many species of native plants and wildflowers, a Siamese tree, a pawpaw grove and more.
