The video for “London Calling 7/07/05” was made by Vic Sadot after reading much on-line analyses and after watching several films about the terror attacks in London. Three railroad cars and one double-decker bus were bombed, and scores of people were killed and injured. Three movies which informed and influenced the songwriter were: “Ludicrous Diversion”, “Mind the Gap”, and “7/7 Ripple Effect”. They can be watched for free on line at this writing. Just as there were simultaneous “war games” on 9/11/01, there were simultaneous “terror drills” being conducted by former UK intelligence officer, Peter Power, of Visor Consultants. Mr. Power was interviewed by the BBC on the same day as the attacks. Power told BBC, “At half past nine this morning we were actually running an exercise for a company of over a thousand people in London based on simultaneous bombs going off precisely at the railway stations where it happened this morning, so I still have the hairs on the back of my neck standing up right now.” Many observers have questioned what the mathematical odds would be for this remarkable and improbable “coincidence”. Tony Blair, UK Prime Minister at the time, spoke out against a public inquiry of the 7/07/05 attacks and dismissed the call for a transparent investigation as a “ludicrous diversion”. Four Muslim suspects were quickly named, but they had already been killed. It remains uncertain if they died in the explosions or at another London location. They certainly are not available for questioning. Former MI5 intelligence agents, David Shayler and Annie Machon, became outspoken whistle-blowers who call for an independent and trustworthy inquiry into the truth about the tragic attacks that killed and maimed so many people and served as the justification for more secrecy, surveillance, war, and suppression of citizen rights.
