Renaming files in the Explorer panel
Renaming your games to the format you want is easy in DSFCC. Simply go to the configuration panel and in there you will find the option to set how you want your files named. Build the string using the calculator style buttons, hold the mouse over each button to see their values. Once you're satisfied then click save, cancel undoes any changes. Adding DS games by scanning your download folder
There are a few ways to add files to your DS library using DSFCC, one way is to set a download folder and have the program check it for you. First you must set your download foler in the Preferences menu as shown. Then simply use the Scan download folder option in the File menu to have the program scan it. Adding DS Roms using Scan button
There are a few ways to add files to your DS library using DSFCC, the scan button in the Explorer panel is one of them. Simply highlight the files you want to add and press the scan button (far left button underneath the file browser). DSFCC will add them as is, no renaming and it will not be moved from that folder.

Add DS games using drag and drop
There are a few ways to add files to your DS library using DSFCC, drag and drop is one of them. Files can be in .zip, .7z, .rar and .nds format and must be dropped into the Explorer panel. Any files dropped into the window will be copied into the folder selected in the file browser part of the Explorer panel. They will be renamed according to renamer settings you have chosen in the Configuration panel.
