Living in NYC is exciting. Being born here gives you a sense of pride that you can tackle it all and still have more battles to fight, yet, you never quit! Sometimes there are those that make you go, "Damn, I'm glad that's not me..." or those that make you forget all that pushing and shoving and make you laugh a bit. A sad day in Rock & Roll history! Today CBGB's, the legendary rock venue that made famous native New Yorkers The Ramones, Blondie, Talking Heads, The Police, and many many others, has been silenced forever. I've played this venue many many times and feel honored to have played drums on that stage. It's a sad day. I was on hand for the funeral of sorts..
