Rushell Clayton of Mico University College highlighted day one of the 57th JMBS Intercol Track & field Championships on at the Usain Bolt track, UWI, Mona. Clayton, formerly of Vere Technical and Frome High, blazed the track to take top honours in the women’s 400m hurdles, stopping the clock at 58.55 seconds. She erased the mark of 59.38 set by former GC Foster College athlete Rosemarie Whyte in 2008.
