A crane made with two-sided paper that has the corners folded to different sides, so that the final model has one color on the left side and a different color on the right.A second crane is shown at the end with a front-back split; this was made by orienting the square base differently before folding the bird base.Two more arrangements are possible using different beginning folds: a diagonal-opposite split and wings-head/tail split (only try this one if you have really thin paper, since the initial square will be 4 layers thick).
