Members of the Saskatchewan Outdoor & Environmental Education Association (SOEEA) ventured north to the Boreal Forest Learning Center to spend a weekend in the woods. We had a number of guides & presenters that talked to us about the local area and the natural environment. We heard Bison grunt from the bush, identified dozens of plants, rode horses, mountain biked, hiked, swam, sang, carved, told stories, recued an Osprey from the clenches of human impact and celebrated the warm uplifting spirit of the forest.
