The Government is proposing to ban the display of tobacco in shops in the UK. This is unlikely to stop people smoking but it will hit many small shops and inconvenience millions of consumers.This is another measure from a government obsessed with dictating how people live their lives. The country faces profound issues likes violent crime and recession, and the government wants to hide tobacco under the counter! (What next? Alcohol? Fizzy drinks?
