I was on the phone with Sony for about 2 hours (the recording is coming soon). The supervisor told me that the Customer Support reps are required to say there is no issue with the PS3. We need to start the war against this BS. I propose the following. 1. File a BBB Complaint, http://tinyurl.com/y8ar6dm (I shortened it, also is a direct link to Sony Computer Entertainment of America, LLC BBB page) Write a complaint that your system failed. The BBB has more power than us. 2. Call Sony's PS3 customer service number. (1-800-345-7669) Even if you have repaired the system yourself, complain to them but turn down the repair fee. This will record a failure in their books. 3. File a complaint with the Attorney General Email at AskDOJ@usdoj.gov Explain the situation. Remember Microsoft was forced by law to fix all RRODs for free. Microsoft had the same attitude as Sony does now. If it wasn't for the lawsuit Microsoft would most likely still be charging for the RROD.
