This comedic web series follows an independent film crew in northeast Ohio, as they attempt to produce an epic film that will make it into the Sundance film festival. Unfortunately, with a small budget, there isn't enough money to compensate the cast and crew. When compromises are made, apathy and mixed agendas surface, causing turbulence all along the road; the road to Sundance, that is.

Production has finally commenced! The cast and crew of Where the Sun Sets in Purgatory sets out to film their very first scene. Once the cast decides to make things difficult for Parker and George, the crew follows their lead, creating havoc from the get-go. Can George salvage the footage from the first couple days of production? He'll at least attempt to make it work in post-op.
After the first half of the casting day crawls by without success, our favorite filmmakers decide its time to comprise, and settle for who or what ever they can find. George and Parker must decide if its worth casting for sake of convenience, or dare they go through another casting call like this one? And George finds his funny guy who isnt actually funny at all.
Calling all actors! After purchasing the script and the equipment to produce their film, George realizes hes going broke already, and nowhere near being ready to film. As Parker and Shane split up to scout locations for the production, George sets out to find a sponsor for their film. In the meantime, he pumps the script up to make it appealing to potential investorsor so he claims.
Parker convinces George to hire a crew. What they get, however, are some interesting characters to help them produce their film. George and Parker both have their doubts about the newcomers on the project. And George buys a camera...part of one at least
