Andy Abramson and I did various tests with Skype, Gizmo Project, SightSpeed, and the Nokia N800 using our respective Covad T1s. We then switched to Andy's cable connection (through Cox, if memory serves), I stayed on the Covad line, and repeated the same tests. In all applications, you can tell the difference between the two. A reader had told me via email that this site was offline. Even though I am not home, my trusty Nokia N 73 comes to the rescue and I am able to get my site back online. I even recorded a video to commemorate the occasion using the secondary camera on the N73.

Took a train from Helsinki to Salo this morning and captured about a minute or so of the countryside from the train. Not much going on here, but you get a flavor for what Finland looks like outside of the major metro areas.
