Evangelista's editor refused to include these artists in the magazine, but the experience ignited in Evangelista an ongoing interest in Palestinian contemporary art. This exhibition will offer a first-person account of one curator's venture into Palestinian contemporary art through a selection of painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, and video works. Artists include Hani Zurob, Taysir Batniji, Said Abu Shakra, Farid Abu Shakra, Samir Salameh, Nabil Ananni, Ahmad Canann, and Shadi al Habib.The exhibit will be on display at the Jerusalem Fund Gallery from 30 January - 27 March 2009.
