The Indiana Abolitionist is the newsletter of the Indiana Information Center on the Abolition of Capital Punishment (IICACP). IICACP is a state-wide non-profit organization dedicated to educating hoosiers and the rest of the world about the injustices associated with the death penalty as well as more positive options for public safety. The Journey of Hope is a program of Murder Victims' Families for Reconciliation (MVFR). MVFR is made up of families who have all lost a loved one to violence through homicide. MVFR members seek to heal their own pain at losing a loved one through forgiveness and spiritual rather than violent means. MVFR members reject the death penalty as unjust and work to end it.
