Fox penning is legal in many states across the South and Midwest. It is a sport in which dogs are unleashed to chase foxes and coyotes in confined areas. At times, the pack of dogs maim or kill these animals by ripping them to pieces. Those opposed to the sport liken it to dog fighting. Florida Fish and Wildlife is currently considering a ban on this controversial sport.
