The Dog Show is a show about dogs and the people who love them. The purpose of the show is to, in our own small way; help make the world a better place for dogs and people. If you have ever had a pet you know how special that relationship can be. Dogs represent a large number of the pets residing in over sixty percent of the households in America. Often dogs live happy lives with informed and responsible owners. Unfortunately, many times dogs are brought into families with good intentions, but primarily because they are a cute puppy. Then when they grow to full size and it becomes apparent the time and commitment required is more than the owner anticipated, it is then the dog often ends up in a Humane Society shelter. “The Dog Show” is a community cable access television show about dogs. The primary purpose of the show is to inform people how to be responsible dog owners. We invite local experts to speak on topics that are relevant to having a dog in your life. We also introduce a new breed each month with information about the reality of having this breed as a pet. And we have a Veterinarian and Trainer who address common issues and behaviors for all dogs. Our mission is to inform people how to be responsible dog owners promoting happy partnerships with dogs and humans thus resulting in fewer dogs in shelters. We hope you enjoy our show. We want it to be a fun experience for our viewers and at the same time be informative. We value your feedback and would love to hear from you. Thanks for watching The Dog Show! Hugs to people and dogs!
