On January 1st 1981, a government research project known as The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) received a transmission in the form of a heated particle beam. The broadcast was targeted as having its origin somewhere in the distant constellation of Cassiopeia.For many years scientists struggled to understand the order and pattern structure behind these seemingly random pulse waves.
