Yes, Brokeback Mountain trailer "remixes" are soooooo February. But I did one anyway.
I had done a previous video using shots of our bearded dragon, Annie. Over the past few days, she'd been pretty sickly and we were looking for a vet that would work on lizards... but alas, she died yesterday afternoon. Here's my small memorial to our pet lizard. or ex-lizard, as is the case.
My toy Oscar... having fun in San Francisco. But the music is an original creation with NO copyright infringement, and if it sounds like anything else -- well, it's different enough, and it's parody. So please don't sue me Ghost of Jim Henson.
Come to think of it, it might actually be a kangaroo... or a dog.... or something. Oh, well. You wind it up and it does a flip. Though, it has difficulty landing correctly.
It's like freakin' PBS... the 3rd installment of my "Day at the Civil War Re-enactment". In this one, we hear about the surgical kit that the Navy doctors would use during the Civil War.
This happened right after the "battle". The "surgeons" take their "patients" and stitch 'em up. The best part, of course, is when they have to take off an arm or a leg.And FYI: none of these people are real doctors.
About an hour outside of Houston is a little town called Hempstead. Over this past weekend, there was a Civil War Re-enactment going on. Here's the first part, which is clips from the actual re-enactment. Pt 2 will be about Civil War surgery.
Bob Dylan wrote the best war-protest song ever. These shots were all taken from Archive.org... I just did a search for "Iraq" and these were on the first couple of pages.
Taking a cue from We Are the Media, I made my own re-mix of other's videos. A complete list of videos used, and some rationalization behind my choice is here.
