South Texas Fishing Journalâ„¢ - Lake Amistad - Fall - Del Rio, TX. - Lake Amistad Bass Fishing

Del Rio, Lake Amistad, TX. - This was one of the most productive fishing trips we have taken on Lake Amistad. The Angling Channel filmed Keith Combs as we ventured over to the Mexico side and really hooked into the largemouth bass. We did manage to catch a nice striper. We caught 20 - 25 fish using Texas rigged plastics. Shoreline structure was the main target area, and it really paid off. Pulling them out of the brush can be tough. Fishing in the fall down here in south Texas is likely one of the choicest times to fish. Del Rio has numerous motels and lodges and is located minutes from the reservoir. Lake Amistad bass fishing.
