In the past you couldn't play golf off the golf course without breaking windows, denting cars or killing someone. Now, the almostGolf abll has broken the safety barrier and it's time to PLAY EVERYWHERE. Some call it Crossgolf, StreetGolf, Urbangolf, even farmers golf. It's all good. Usually we play with one club under an 8 iron and create courses around parks, schoolyards, neighborhoods and even golf courses. Check out how to create your own course or tournie or just buy balls to check out if we are for real at www.almostGolf.com
This was one of the first examples of Off-Course Golf. We played through the campus thanks to this Tri Delta event.
Thanks to Thomas Burke and the IFC at Auburn University, we were able to create an almostGolf course and play through the campus of Auburn University. It was a two day event with a driving range on the first day and the event on the second day. This was one of the best tournaments of the year. Distributed by Tubemogul.

UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI SHOOTOUT: There is nothing like playing golf on astroturf and U of M has three amazing fields of green, yellow and black Astroturf. We came to Missouri as part of the 2008 College AlmostGolf Tour. This was the first stop of three colleges in one week. Missouri-Auburn-U of Miami. And each campus had it's own completely different flavor. Each campus course reflected the area in its own way and provided amazing opportunitities. Check out more at almostGolf.com WEBSITE http:...

The Meschewski Open has got to be the best example of a neighborhood golf tournament in the world. He raised $10k a year for the last five years. THE GOLF COURSE: He gets over 200 players to compete on two 18 hole courses built around the neighborhood, over streets and between houses using the almostGolf ball. They even cut the fairways with a lawnmower, then paint a circle around the hole as a pho-green. SUBSCRIBE: HELP US GROW A NEW SPORT: Create your own golf course or driving range anywher...
Perry Wright created his own neighborhood golf course using the almost Golf ball. It's a tight 9 hole 'golf course', but it was fun and hard to reach par. A lot of cut shots to get around obstacles. Perry practiced on this course before the 2007 USC almostGolf Open and he got second place. No wonder. He's now moved on to golf in his school...and they will be using the almostGolf ball. This is the first in a series of almostGOLF clips about how to create your own almost-golf (Streetgolf - urbangolf - crossgolf) course around your neighborhood, park, school yard or business. This all came about when we were designing an on campus golfathon around the football field to raise money for the golf team. As we were scouting the course we saw they had an amazing four story parking garage. What a course element! So we decided to integrate the garage into the golf course. It was a hug...
If you are tired of having to schlep to the closest golf facility just to hit a bucket of balls or practice in the short game area, almostGOLF balls are the answer. Now you can play or practice golf anywhere and on your own terms. Since the almostGOLF ball is neighborhood safe and has real golf ball feedback, practicing or playing golf is as close as your own backyard or neighborhood park. Best of all, they make golf convenient, easy and massively less expensive than traditional golf. Save som...
This was one of our trickiest shots because you had to determine where to hit the ball onto the parking lot down slope and then where the ball was going to roll. Parking lot golf is a whole lot harder than it looks. The good thing is that the almostGOLF ball checks up on asphalt. Distributed by Tubemogul.
