On a freshly cut lawn at the Dirt Dogs Dude Ranch
Here's my own morning routine with Lolita, our youngest pup adopted just 4 months ago. I like to take time every morning for a walk ALONE with her and work on skills that I think may be valuable to not only her disc career and other sports like agility and flyball, but to her life as a dog. This particular outing includes basic stuff: recalls, down, sit then leg weaves, dog catch, front crosses, rear crosses, rear end build-up exercise, attention, spins, changing sides, roll over, etc...
As we continue to travel across the country, we take time off daily to exercise the dogs. At our new undisclosed location, we found great hiking trails and have decided to stay for a longer period of time than we previously anticipated.
