It certainly is a lot easier to worry about actions than heart condition. I believe this is why, for the most part, the church has focused on teaching people to control their actions rather than keeping their heart with diligence. What's funny, though, is that in my experience a "heart" that's in good shape will do far more in producing the correct actions than any amount of self-control.
Very few of us have the liberty of focusing on just one thing. However, serving God was never meant to be complex. This week we will discuss what God expects from us, and guess what. It's simple. Are you intrigued?
Right after creating Adam God said it's not good for man to be alone. It's the old iron-sharpens-iron thing. Anyone who has married for more than five minutes can attest to the fact that relating closely with another person brings about change. So a discussion on the topic of relationships is not unusual at 365.
A discussion on the topic of "Keeping it Real". Marvin Gaye got it right when he sang, "ain't nothing like the real thing, baby". We'll be discussing how that idea applies to our walk with God.
This week's talk discussed the evolution of 365 church to a home/community based church and the scriptures that led to strengthening the understanding that people are the church, not the buildings.
