2013 Toyota RAV4 loses 2 cylinders at the LA Auto Show Debut

The brand new 2013 Toyota RAV4 debuted at the 2012 LA Auto show missing 2 cylinders. The V6 RAV4 is no more. Killed by the need for more fuel efficient cars. Instead Toyota has packed the new RAV4 with the latest technology. The only engine choice in America will be 2.5-liter four-cylinder which puts out 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque and is mated to a new six-speed automatic.
