TechDrawl, launched January 2009, is an interactive video blog showcasing emerging technology businesses fresh from the South. Our mission is to bring to the national stage the newest and most promising privately owned technology companies and entrepreneurs from D.C. to Texas (the U.S. Census South) and to report on their concepts and accomplishments. In the South, it’s all about the money. There is a considerable imbalance between capital requirements and capital supply in the region. Entrepreneurs have difficulty getting funded, and the better ones often relocate to money centers like Boston and Silicon Valley. Investors, on the other hand, say there aren’t enough good deals in the region. We believe we can play a role in correcting this imbalance by providing an informative and entertaining ongoing discussion at TechDrawl.
