These are several items that teachers, the classroom parent and their students created to be auctioned off at annual Enrichment Cluster Auction.
The Covenant of Ballet from Kingsborough Community College teams up with our 2nd Grade classrooms. A dancer came in and was teaching our students various ballet moves and discusses the story of Cinderella. The students then took what they learned and created a short dance.
The students in the Super Kids On A Mission Cluster went to Seth Low Playground to conduct some Community Service. Take a look at the great job our students did in helping to clean up our neighborhood's playground!
At TAOTS we honor 100% attendance. We understand that the parents and students work together to achieve 100% attendance. In honor of the parents and students who didn't miss a day of school since September 8, 2011 we held a breakfast award ceremony. Students and their parents came for breakfast and then all of the students received their 100% attendance certificate.
Students share what enrichment clusters mean to them and what they have learned.
Student's in the Science Lab have been learning about the different parts of plants and how to care for them. Take a look at the students taking care of their plants and recording their observations every time they come to Science.
Students in Tribes learned about different ways they can use their hands to play with their friends. Take a look at the students working and all of the various activities they have done in Tribes!
Take a look at our 2nd Annual Bear NIght. It was a huge success and we had various activities for all the different grade levels. (K-3)
