Cabot Sock Sale [53]

11/11/07: The 28th Annual Cabot Sock Sale was held this weekend in Northfield Vermont. Each year thousands of visitors flock to the sock factory to pounce on the heavily discounted, high quality, VT-made socks. Coinciding with the start of Vermont's deer season, the sale was originally billed as a party for Hunter's Widows. Nowadays, hunters, men, women, teens and kids all flock to the sale. Cabot Hosiery Mills has been in the Cabot family for three generations. They are the only sock company remaining in Vermont and one of the last sock companies in the country. The sock sale will be continuing the weekend of November 17th and 18th in Northfield Vermont.
