Philadelphia’s Chinatown community welcomed the Year of the Ox with with lion dance parades and firecrackers Sunday afternoon, in an annual tradition intended to bring good luck to local businesses. Another parade is scheduled for next Sunday. Citizen media notes: I shot this video with a Canon SD870, the previous version of the camera seen at top right, and added the titles using Final Cut Express on my iMac. I was wearing ballistic eye and ear protection and would never cover such an event any other way.
