About this episode

This was one of the more remarkable explorations by the UEU 314 made in September of 08 during a visit to Chicago and Milwaukee. We stopped just south of Milwaukee to see the secluded Peter Cooper Glue Factory on Lake Michigan. The walk up was pretty amazing for we had to walk through the late summer high grass, up hills and over rocks along the lake. The plant closed about 30 years ago after operating at the location for about a century. There were three large complexes, and they all stunk for they would render the horses. There were six in our crew, and I have included three of the other's photographs in the work.
