Grace Paley Presente

Greenwich Village, September 12, 2007--Relatives, friends and fans of Grace Paley held a vigil and antiwar rally outside the Jefferson Market Library in remembrance of the wonderful short story writer, poet and activist/ troublemaker, and then read some of her poems inside the garden . The garden is the site of the former Women's House of Detention where Grace Paley had once been imprisoned. With Robert Nichols, Blanche Wiesen Cook and many others.
